Product Use
Canesten Combi Pessary & Cream is a complete remedy for vaginal thrush as it treats both internal causes and external symptoms. Use this product only if your doctor has previously diagnosed you with vaginal thrush.
Instructions
Adults:
Wash your hands before and after using the pessary and cream.
Insert the pessary into the vagina at night using the applicator provided and apply the cream thinly 2 or 3 times daily to the affected area.
Below 16 and over 60 years:

Cautions
o not use Canesten Combi Pessary & Cream if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients of Canesten Combi Pessary & Cream During your period as it may be less effective. To treat nail and scalp infections.
The cream contains cetostearyl alcohol which may cause local skin irritation (e.g. rash, itching or redness).
As with other creams and pessaries, this product may reduce the effectiveness of rubber contraceptives, such as condoms or diaphragms. Consequently, you should use alternative precautions for at least five days after using this product.
If you are pregnant or trying for a baby, tell your doctor or midwife before using Canesten Combi Pessary & Cream. If you have informed your doctor or midwife already, follow his/her instructions carefully. During pregnancy, extra care should be taken when using the applicator.
Ingredients
The active substance is clotrimazole at a strength of 2% w/w, the other ingredients are benzyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, cetyl palmitate, cetostearyl alcohol, octyldodecanol and purifi ed water.
