Product Use
Canesten oral capsule and cream is an effective single-dose treatment for vaginal thrush that can also be used by your partner if they experience symptoms of thrush. The capsule is meant to treat thrush at the site of infection and the cream is meant to treat any irritation or itching around the vulva.
Instructions
Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water (with or without food).
The cream should only be used externally.
Apply thinly and evenly over the affected area 2 or 3 times daily and rub in gently.
Treatment should be continued until the symptoms disappear, or up to 1 week in women and up to 2 weeks in men. If symptoms persist for more than 7 days, see your doctor.

Consult your doctor or a pharmacist before use if you are taking any medication other than the contraceptive pill and if you are under 16 or over 60
The capsule is for oral use
The cream is for external use only
Keep out of the reach and sight of children
Do not store above 25°C
Do not use after the expiry date
As with other creams, this product may reduce the effectiveness of rubber contraceptives, such as condoms or diaphragms
Do not use if you are
Allergic to any of the ingredients, taking the antihistamine terfenadine or the medicine cisapride, pregnant, trying for a baby and/or breast-feeding
The capsule contains lactose monohydrate
Ingredients
Capsule active ingredients: Fluconazole 150mg.
Other ingredients: Lactose Monohydrate.
Cream active ingredients: Clotrimazole 200mg (2% w/w).
Other ingredients: Benzyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan Stearate, Cetyl Palmitate, Cetostearyl Alcohol, Octyldodecanol, Purified Water.
