Product Use
Ovex Suspension is a banana flavored liquid suitable for adults and children from 2 years of age. Since pinworms can spread very easily, it is strongly recommended that the whole family be treated at the same time, with the exception of pregnant or nursing women or children under 2 years of age, and that adequate hygiene precautions are taken to prevent re-infection.
Instructions
Adults and children aged 2 years and over: Take one 5ml dose per family member, using the measuring cup provided.
Children under 2 years: Not recommended.
If symptoms do not disappear within a few days, speak to your doctor. If you are re-infected your pharmacist may recommend that a second tablet is taken after two weeks
Cautions
Do not use Ovex Suspension:
If you have ever had a bad reaction to any of the ingredients.
If it is for a child under 2 years.
If you are pregnant or think you are pregnant.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Ovex Suspension:
If you are taking any other medicines, including: metronidazole (a drug used to treat bacterial and protozoan infections) and cimetidine (a medicine used to treat excess stomach acidity).
Ingredients
Active Ingredient: Mebendazole 100mg per 5ml.
