Voltarol Osteoarthritis Joint Pain Relief 1.16% Gel - 180g

For the local symptomatic relief of pain and inflammation in trauma of the tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints (e.g. due to sprains, strains and bruises) and localised forms of soft tissue rheumatism. Relief of pain of non-serious arthritic conditions. Voltarol Osteoarthritis Joint Pain Relief 1.16% Gel 100g has been specifically formulated to help ease local symptomatic pain and inflammation in the tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints (e.g. due to sprains, strains and bruises) and localised forms of soft tissue rheumatism. Voltarol Gel contains an active ingredient called diethylammonium which is an non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that is extremely effective for reducing inflammation and pain. It is used for relieving local pain and inflammations of muscles, joints, ligaments; injuries like strains, bruises, and sprains; and rheumatism. By simply rubbing Voltarol Gel onto your skin its healing properties are absorbed into the underlying tissues and relieve pain and inflammation.

14 years and over: depending on the size of the affected site to be treated 2-4g (a circular shaped mass approximately 2-2.5cm in diameter) should be applied 3-4 times a day. Rub gently onto the skin. Limit treatment to 14 days. For arthritis pain it may be necessary to apply the gel for up to 7 days before an improvement in pain is noticed. Under 14 years: not to be used.

Not for use by children under 14 years. If symptoms do not improve by day 7, or if they worsen within the first 7 days, a consultation with a doctor is recommended. Consultation with a doctor is recommended if more than two major joints in the body are affected. Do not use for more than 14 days unless recommended by a doctor.

White gel containing: Diclofenac Diethylammonium 1.16%w/w Diethylamine, carbomers, macrogol cetostearyl ether, cocoyl caprylocaprate, isopropyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, perfume creme 45, propylene glycol, purified water.
